Hurricane preparedness

Our top priority is to protect the safety of our personnel and maintain reliable supply of our products to our customers.

All ExxonMobil operating facilities have extensive hurricane preparedness plans in place and we update and practice these plans to ensure readiness.  These plans provide for coordination among all business units in key locations, including the U.S. Gulf Coast.

Storm Update

July 25, 2010

ExxonMobil's Gulf of Mexico facilities are operating normally post-Tropical Depression Bonnie. We are returning operations crews to facilities evacuated in advance of the storm. Post-storm assessments are complete and there appears to be no damage to any ExxonMobil facilities.
